Good Grief

Good Grief is a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph that provides support for people in times of change, loss and grief through its programs and resources.

sfgSeasons for Growth is the main program providing separate programs for both young people and adults who might be experience emotional affects following family break-up, death and other loss issues.  Both program are based on Worden’s tasks of grief and use the imagery of the Seasons. There is an additional supplementary program complementing the Seasons for Growth program which addresses the needs of refugees.

Other  programs are the Parent Program for parents supporting their children where there is a family breakup and Seasons for Healing which is for adult indigenous people wishing to address their loss issues.

Storm Birds is a natural disaster program supporting children following experience such as bush fire, floods or earthquake.
