Liturgy, Prayer and Reflection

The Mary MacKillop Chapel provides a peaceful and inspirational atmosphere where people can withdraw from the noise and rush of the city to spend some time in quiet reflection and prayer.

Celebrating the Birthday of Saint Mary MacKillop

Each year on the birthday of St Mary MacKillop is celebrated at All Saints Church, King William Street, Fitzroy at 10.00am Mass, on the Sunday before, or immediately after the 15th January. Mass is followed by a light lunch and the cutting of the birthday cake in the church hall. All are welcome to attend.

Prayer Requests

Visitors to the Chapel at MMHC where Mary MacKillop often prayed are welcome to write in the folder provided, their prayer requests through the intercession of St Mary of the Cross.

Each week the pages containing the prayer requests, are forwarded to North Sydney and placed near the grave of St Mary MacKillop in the Chapel at MacKillop Place.
